ANNOUNCEMENTS

CRISIS CARE KITS-Because of so many disasters this past year, Nazarene Compassionate
Ministries needs your help to replenish the supply of CCK's. In the foyer is a table where you can
pick up a plastic bag to fill. Bring it back by the end of December, and we will mail them. If you
would like to help with the cost of shipping, make checks payable to Springs First and mark for
Crisis Care Kits. When you hear in the news of a major world crisis, you will know that you have
been able to help in a small way as NCM goes to minister in these needy areas.

PRAYER TIME FOR OUR YOUTH-Every Sunday at 8:30-8:50 a.m. (resuming January 9th),
Pastor Ed Belzer will be conducting a group prayer time in The Cave. We will be praying for our
youth, their parents, the sponsors, and Springs First Student Ministries. Our youth need God and
your prayers more than ever before. We are inviting everyone, young and old, to participate

calendars! More details later.

CHILD SPONSORSHIP CHRISTMAS PROJECT-Nazarene Compassionate Ministries 2004. This
holiday season you can make a difference in the lives of children and families who have been
uprooted from their homes. Refugee and displaced children are among the most vulnerable in
the world. In this situation NCM is sharing help and hope. Through feeding and educational
programs, children are shown the love of Jesus. For information on how to sponsor a refugee
child, stop by the mission counter in the foyer or go online at www.ncm.org

BLOOD PRESSURE TESTING has moved to the facility office in McQueen hallway. If you would
like information on screening for stroke risk, flyers are available at the ministry counter in the
foyer. If you have any questions, please call the church office.

at this time, please circle the letter "B" on a Response Card and place it in the offering.

connecting link.

needs. Simply drop off the aluminum at the church.

YOUTH SMALL GROUPS-Due to the holidays, we will not have any small groups until January
9th. If you have any questions, please call your teen's small group leader.

HELP FOR MILITARY FAMILIES-A way to support our active military families is to baby-sit their
children for a few hours, giving spouses a chance to clean house, shop, take a drive-however
they want to re-energize their batteries. If you are interested in helping these families by
volunteering in this ministry (especially during this holiday season), please mark "H"; (help) on the
communication card. Names and phone numbers will be given out to families requesting it and
they will contact you.
